The Skateboard Mag feature documents a permitted skate session at the Los Angeles County Correctional Facility, secured by Brian Lotti and Elwood Denims Co. for filming for the skateboard movie
1st & Hope (working title was
Way Back When). You can watch it

direct link to the footage from the LACC session. The session was on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend - May 30, 2004.
I borrowed the DVD of
1st & Hope from a friend in high school and watched it over and over. It's very soothing to watch, and it is also how I became interested in Beck. My favorite part is the
end montage set to "Jack-Ass".
