The Making of The Search For Animal Chin
The story of The Bones Brigade, Powell Peralta and The Search For Animal Chin has been told many times in articles, books, interviews and documentaries, so chances are, the information below won't be anything you haven't already heard or read. Or, maybe not. As stories are told and retold over time, small details get excluded, either intentionally or unintentionally, and become lost. Hopefully, there's something in this October 2001 article that you didn't know yet about one of the most culturally significant moments in skateboarding's history.

Dreamland article by Dave Carnie
The motivation behind scanning this article was that a person on Instagram requested it via DM. I had no idea that it existed before they had reached out to me, but I am glad that they did because this is a real gem. Dave Carnie gives some backstory to and sings praise about the Dreamland Skateparks company and the parks that they'd created up to that point (this is from the December 2004 The Skateboard Mag issue). Admittedly, I just breezed through the article and didn't read it thoroughly (yet), so my summary of it is probably not doing it justice at all. Enjoy!
