This article from the January 2009 issue of Skateboarder covers a Traffic Skateboards tour that the team took to really explore & skate the city. The goal of this trip was to film a short video of their time there, which became the Tokyo Transfer promo. It's short but sweet, and features some great Rich Adler clips (who also wrote the article). Photos by Nobuo Iseki.

'Bye Bye Love Park': SLAP September 2002
Six pages of classic Love Park photos and a short write-up by Rick Valenzuela appeared in the September 2002 to pay homage to the famous plaza after it was first shut down in April 2002. Looks like the photos are credited to Ryan Gee and Frankie.
March 2001 Interview issue of Skateboarder
Below are all of the interviews from Skateboarder's second Interview issue. Photo credit can be found within the scans. The real treat in this issue is the Jake Phelps interview at the end.
Cinematographer: Dan Wolfe & Eastern Exposure 3
The Cinematographer section for the February 2008 issue of Skateboarder features Dan Wolfe talking about the skate video that launched his career as a videographer, Eastern Exposure 3. Words by Keir Johnson. It is interesting to see Dan's thoughts on the future of indie skate videos. He was right about indie productions never completely dying; I'm writing this post hours after two new local Twin Cities videos premiered at the opening of After Hours Skateshop.
