Listening to Tom Karangelov's interview on The Bunt last week reminded me of how much I enjoyed seeing the 3D Skateboards ads in Thrasher. Layering a photo over and over in order to create a larger pattern was really cool, and not like anything I had seen before or since. It's unfortunate that the brand was around for only a short time, but it makes these few ads that more special as time passes. Also, it seems like the skaters who were involved in it are still thriving years later, which is awesome. I didn't include all of the ads; only the ones that I found interesting. Apologies if that bums anyone out.
