Men at Work: Zered Bassett & Joey Pepper interviews
This double feature was published in the February/March 2013 issue of Skateboarder. At this time Zered had just joined Joey at Expedition after getting kicked off of Zoo York, one of the things he talks about in this piece amongst other things. I've always been a fan of his skating after seeing State Of Mind, and was happy to see him get a new sponsor so quickly after harshly getting the boot from Zoo. I remember really liking the concept & graphics for this article too - another nice way to send off the last print issue of my favorite skate mag. Wes Kremer: San Diego's Rising Sun
Below is Wes Kremer's only interview he had in Skateboarder, which was the feature of the last print issue for the magazine. As bummed as I was that it was the last issue, I remember being stoked that it was ending with a full interview with one of my new favorite skaters at the time. About two years later, Wes would be crowned the 2014 SOTY for Thrasher.
