Ryan Bobier - September 2007 interview

Ryan Bobier's interview from the September 2007 issue of The Skateboard Mag. Words by Robert Brink and photos by Adam Conway, Rodent, Ian O'Connor, and Shigeo. Bobier was involved with Zero & Black Box for almost the entire duration of its run, but hasn't talked about his time there too much in interviews (none that I've seen, anyways). It would be interesting to hear what he would have to say about that period of his life.

Kevin Taylor - September 2007 interview

Kevin Taylor's interview from the September 2007 issue of The Skateboard Mag. The gap to crooks photo is so good.

Paul Rodriguez - September 2007 interview

The Rod's interview from the September 2007 issue of The Skateboard Mag. The switch back tail and nollie heel tailslide to fakie were probably photographed on the same session - those two spots are just a few pushes away from each other. Words by Robert Brink and photos by Atiba.

Devine Calloway - September 2007 interview

Devine's interview from the September 2007 issue of The Skateboard Mag. The kickflip back tail on the yellow flat bar is a pretty perfect photo. Words by Paul "Animal" Chan, and photos by Atiba and Anthony Acosta. I also included a DC ad with a sequence of his kickflip nose manual from the end of his Let's Do This! part.

John Lupfer - May 2009 interview

This interview is from the May 2009 Interview issue of Skateboarder Magazine. To this day, the back Smith photo is one of my favorite photos of that trick, ever. Words by Christian Senrud and photos by Mikendo.

Men at Work: Zered Bassett & Joey Pepper interviews

This double feature was published in the February/March 2013 issue of Skateboarder. At this time Zered had just joined Joey at Expedition after getting kicked off of Zoo York, one of the things he talks about in this piece amongst other things. I've always been a fan of his skating after seeing State Of Mind, and was happy to see him get a new sponsor so quickly after harshly getting the boot from Zoo. I remember really liking the concept & graphics for this article too - another nice way to send off the last print issue of my favorite skate mag. Words by Christian Senrud and photos by Jonathan Mehring.

Nyjah Huston: January 2007 interview

Nyjah's interview from the January 2007 issue of The Skateboard Mag. Words by Rob Brink and photos by Atiba Jefferson.

Nonstop Hustle: January 2007 Supra trip article

This trip article put together by Shad Lambert was published in the January 2007 issue of The Skateboard Mag and contains photos of Greco, Ellington, Penny, Muska, and Antwuan Dixon - heavy lineup.

Erik Ellington - September 2007 interview

A brief interview with Erik Ellington, from the September 2007 issue of The Skateboard Mag. Words by Neckface and photos by Atiba, Shad Lambert, and Yoon Sul.

Wes Kremer: San Diego's Rising Sun

Below is Wes Kremer's only interview he had in Skateboarder, which was the feature of the last print issue for the magazine. As bummed as I was that it was the last issue, I remember being stoked that it was ending with a full interview with one of my new favorite skaters at the time. About two years later, Wes would be crowned the 2014 SOTY for Thrasher

Words by Chris Nieratko and photos by Mike Blabac, Andrew Peters, John Bradford, and Brendan Klein.

Eric Koston - September 2007 interview

This interview was published in the September 2007 issue of The Skateboard Mag, only a few months before the premiere of Fully Flared. Koston had been added to the team about a year earlier after a lengthy stay at eS, and talks about why he left in this piece, amongst other things. Words by Paul Zitzer and photos by Atiba, Matt Price, and Anthony Acosta.

Matt Bennett - December 2010 interview

Se7en Day Weekend: Volcom in Sydney

This 16-page feature, penned by Skateboarder editor-in-chief Jaime Owens, documents a Volcom Australia trip to the continent's most populous city, Sydney. Darrell Stanton also tagged along and got a couple of tricks for article. Photos by Andrew Mapstone.
