The Captain Is Plastered
This 8-page article from the February 2004 issue of Skateboarder documents an 11-day RV trip the Kr3w team (and Dustin Dollin) took from LA to Denver sometime in 2003. Intro written by Erik Ellington and photos by Shigeo.
Mock Covers: A Photo Feature Full of Front-Pagers
The title pretty much says it all. Photographer credits are prominent on each page. Appears in the April 2004 issue of Skateboarder.
The Ten Best Lines Ever Caught on Video
This Quirk feature was put together by Mackenzie Eisenhour for the April 2003 issue of Skateboarder, with comments from Dan Wolfe, Ty Evans and Greg Hunt. Below are timestamps to all of the lines mentioned.
If this list was made in 2024, which of these ten would still be on it?
Nonstop Hustle: January 2007 Supra trip article
This trip article put together by Shad Lambert was published in the January 2007 issue of The Skateboard Mag and contains photos of Greco, Ellington, Penny, Muska, and Antwuan Dixon - heavy lineup.
Flip's (2007) Eurotrashed Tour
The Flip team took a trip through The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and back to The Netherlands in July of 2007, skating demos and getting tricks at spots along the way, some of which would show up in Extremely Sorry. This article also features what might be the first photos of Christoph "Willow" Wildgrube in an American skateboarding magazine. Words by Ewan Bowman, and photos by Thomas Gentsch and Arto Saari.
One thing I remember from seeing this article for the first time was being in awe of the sequence of Willow's varial heelflip. That set is still huge by today's standards.
Tom Penny Pop Shove-It Sequence in Lyon
This sequence appears in the January/February 2002 Skateboarder, and the staff at the magazine were so excited about publishing it that they had "Penny Sequence!" written on the front cover. Another interesting thing about this is the photo caption, which says "All ethics go out the door when it comes to this guy. Tom Penny pop shoves over a volcano and stylishly rides off the Sidewalk, Lyon, France". Is this alluding to the photo being saved for Sidewalk, but was ran in Skateboarder before it could be printed in the UK magazine?
Photo by Oliver Barton. You can see the clip of the trick here.
Tom Penny - May 2010 TSM interview
Geoff Rowley asked the questions for this interview with the legendary Tom Penny, which was published in The Skateboard Mag around the same time Extremely Sorry premiered. All photos by Gaston Francisco. Tom also has a Supra Footwear ad in this issue, which I included as well.
Face To Face - Skateboarder Summer 1998
The second special edition of Skateboarder Magazine has a feature in it called Face To Face, which might have been what inspired the Cohorts feature? Maybe? That's pure speculation. Regardless, it's a pretty interesting article of skaters interviewing each other.

Tom Penny's 2003 Divulge Interview
This 2-page interview appears in the October 2003 issue of Skateboarder. In it, Tom talks about becoming a father, being sober, and leaving the United States in 1996 and temporarily falling off the map for a bit.
No credit is given for the interview; I'm going to assume it was done by Meza.
