Bastien Salabanzi interview - July 2004 Skateboarder

Many of the tricks in this interview appeared in Bastien's Lost Part, which was released in the beginning of 2014. In the words of the interviewer and photographer of this feature, Oliver Barton, "Bastien was on fire" during this time and was doing tricks that were still impressive when the footage was seen nearly a decade later. Usually lines look awkward when photographed as sequences, but the 2-page spread of the nollie 180 to Cab kickflip in this is really cool. Oliver posted the photographs on his Instagram earlier today, which inspired me to scan and post this interview.
