I got into skateboarding a few years after Sorry had come out, which means that I had only read stories about him or seen older photos. This interview was the first time that I'd seen current pictures of him, and the first time that I had gotten any sort of information about his abrupt split from Flip Skateboards. I am not certain, but was this the first time that he'd spoken about it in an interview? Please correct me if I am wrong.
This issue also has a Jart Skateboards ad with Bastien in it, doing a back tail on a pretty tall ledge. I remember this photo really standing out to me and I'd say it is my favorite photo of him. I posted the ad below the interview.
