This is a really, really cool feature from the February/March 2012 issue of Skateboarder that I am glad to revisit and scan. Gus "Goose" Duarte is a childhood friend of Brian Lotti's who photographed a lot of the early days of street skateboarding before drifting off into other creative pursuits. The negatives of those photos went unseen until 2012, when Seb Carayol was able to track him down for a short interview and to share some of his never-before-seen images of young Mike Carroll, Jim Thiebaud, Matt Hensley & more.
